Peshawar: Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Umar Ahmad Bukhari, has approved a special winter education package for nearly 200 students of Lower South Waziristan. As part of this initiative, aid checks have been handed over to Frontier Corps (FC) South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the purchase of sweaters, school bags, and school uniforms. This will ensure that deserving students receive immediate support and can continue their education uninterrupted during the cold season.
Tribal elders, local leaders, jirga members, and parents of the students expressed gratitude to the Corps Commander Peshawar, saying that this initiative will play a vital role in promoting education, motivating students, and improving the overall educational environment in the area. They added that such practical steps not only fulfill students’ needs but also reduce the financial burden on parents.
Malik Noor Rehman Wazir appreciated Lieutenant General Umar Ahmad Bukhari for his continuous efforts to improve educational facilities, strengthen social structures, and secure a bright future for the youth in Lower South Waziristan. He stated that educational projects like these are crucial in promoting awareness, development, and stability in the region.
He further mentioned that Frontier Corps (FC) South plays a significant role in supporting underprivileged students by providing educational facilities, scholarships, and assistance in paying college fees, enabling them to continue their education , a highly commendable initiative.
Tribal elders expressed hope that such positive measures will improve the quality of education in the region, provide new opportunities for youth development, and further strengthen educational and social stability in South Waziristan.
