A comparison of six phones in Pakistan’s Rs. 65,000–75,000 price range highlights major differences in charging speeds, battery capacity and durability ratings.
The Rs. 65,000–75,000 smartphone segment in Pakistan offers buyers a wide range of options, with manufacturers competing on battery capacity, charging speeds, display features and durability. A comparison of six models — the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro, Vivo Y31D, Oppo A6, Infinix Hot 70 Pro, Redmi Note 15 and Samsung Galaxy A17 shows that specifications vary significantly despite similar positioning.
Charging speed is one of the clearest differences. The Samsung Galaxy A17 supports 25W charging, while the Redmi Note 15 offers 33W. The Vivo Y31D and Oppo A6 support 44W and 45W charging, respectively, while the Infinix Hot 70 Pro also reaches 45W. The TECNO SPARK 50 Pro has the highest charging rating in the group at 60W.
For users who frequently need to recharge their phones quickly, the difference between 25W and 60W can be significant, particularly when only a short charging window is available.
Battery capacity presents a different picture. The Vivo Y31D has the largest battery in the comparison at 7,200mAh, followed by the Oppo A6 at 7,000mAh. The Infinix Hot 70 Pro, Redmi Note 15 and TECNO SPARK 50 Pro each feature 6,000mAh batteries, while the Samsung Galaxy A17 has a 5,000mAh battery.
TECNO also highlights long-term battery durability for the SPARK 50 Pro, rating its battery for more than 1,900 charge cycles while retaining more than 80% capacity. The company says this corresponds to roughly six years of typical use. The phone also includes Super, Smart and Low-Temp charging modes, along with AI Charging Protection designed to reduce the impact of prolonged high-voltage charging.
Durability is another area where the six phones differ considerably. The TECNO SPARK 50 Pro carries IP68 protection to a stated depth of 6 meters for 30 minutes, IP69 protection for 80°C water and Level 6 dust protection. It also carries SGS Five-Star Drop certification covering stated drop tests, including 1.2-meter daily drops and a 1.8-meter extreme drop.
The Vivo Y31D also offers IP68 and IP69 protection, along with SGS Five-Star certification, with water resistance stated to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The Oppo A6 carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings and is rated for submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The Infinix Hot 70 Pro offers IP68 protection to 2 meters.
By comparison, the Redmi Note 15 carries an IP64 rating, while the Samsung Galaxy A17 has IP54 protection.
For buyers prioritizing maximum battery capacity, the Vivo Y31D and Oppo A6 offer the largest batteries in this comparison. Those prioritizing charging speed and a combination of battery longevity and durability will find the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro positioned differently, with 60W charging, a 6,000mAh battery and multiple durability certifications. The stated price for the SPARK 50 Pro is Rs. 74,999.
