The heartbreaking memories shared by Lt Taha Abbasi Shaheed’s sister have deeply moved people across Pakistan, as the family continues to cope with the loss of the young officer who lost his life during a training flight.
Lt Taha Abbasi Shaheed, a young Pakistan Navy pilot, was close to completing his flying training when his aircraft crashed in Mardan on June 15, 2026. Pakistan Air Force Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah was also present during the routine flight and was martyred in the tragic incident.
Earlier, Lt Taha Abbasi’s parents shared their grief and emotions after their son’s martyrdom. Despite their pain, they showed patience and accepted Allah’s will. Their emotional interview received widespread attention, with thousands of people offering prayers and support to the family.
Lt Taha Abbasi had two brothers and one sister, Mahnur Abbasi. His brothers serve in the Pakistan Army, while Mahnur is an oncologist. Since his passing, she has been sharing touching memories of her brother, including birthday moments, family trips, old pictures, videos, and personal conversations that reflect their close bond.
Her posts have reminded many people of the young pilot’s cheerful personality and the strong connection he shared with his family. Lt Taha’s brother-in-law, Sherdil, also shared a heartfelt message highlighting the honor and significance of martyrdom.
