Trump announces planned blockade of Strait of Hormuz after failed Iran talks

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States Navy will begin a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz following the collapse of recent negotiations with Iran.

In a statement on his Truth Social platform, Trump said talks ended without an agreement despite progress on several issues, with major differences remaining over Iran’s nuclear program. He added that the US Navy would immediately move to block vessels entering or exiting the strait.

Trump also ordered action against ships paying tolls to Iran, warning that any vessel engaging in such activity would not be granted safe passage in international waters.

He accused Iran of placing naval mines in the strait and called the situation “global extortion.” Trump warned of strong military action against any threats, claiming Iran’s military capabilities had already been severely weakened.
