Trump Claims China Tried to Hack US Election Data, Orders Intelligence Probe

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

President Donald Trump alleges China attempted to access US election-related data, orders an intelligence investigation and declassification of election security documents as Beijing rejects interference claims.

US President Donald Trump has accused China of attempting to hack US election-related data, alleging that Beijing sought to interfere in America’s democratic process and influence the outcome of the presidential race.

Speaking during a nationally televised address, Trump claimed China wanted him to lose the election and had coordinated efforts to damage his public image among American voters. He called for greater transparency on intelligence related to alleged foreign election interference.

Trump said he had directed the Director of National Intelligence and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to investigate China’s alleged attempts to access or manipulate election data. He also ordered the declassification of intelligence documents related to election security, arguing the records would reveal vulnerabilities in the US electoral system and help restore public confidence.

Addressing reporters at the White House, Trump further alleged that China interfered with data linked to the 2020 presidential election. However, he did not present public evidence to support the allegation during his remarks.

The president also urged Congress to pass the proposed “Voter ID Save America Act,” saying stricter voter identification measures would strengthen election security against foreign interference and domestic fraud.

Trump additionally criticized television networks that declined to broadcast his speech live, suggesting broadcasters refusing to air presidential addresses should risk losing their operating licenses.

The accusations come amid ongoing US-China tensions over trade, technology, cybersecurity, and regional security. China has consistently denied interfering in US elections, maintaining that it does not seek to influence America’s internal political affairs.
