A fire broke out at a factory in the Czech Republic reportedly involved in manufacturing equipment for Israel, according to international media reports. The incident occurred in the city of Pardubice, where the facility had allegedly secured a contract to produce drones for Israeli defense use.
The factory operated by Elbit Systems is located approximately 120 kilometers east of the capital Prague. Authorities confirmed that the fire spread to an additional building within the complex, causing material damage but no reported injuries or fatalities.
Local police stated that an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Emergency services responded promptly and the situation was brought under control without any casualties.
Meanwhile, a group identifying itself as anti Israel has reportedly claimed responsibility for the incident and released video footage allegedly showing the act. The group stated that the attack was carried out in response to Israel’s actions in Gaza.
Officials have not yet confirmed the authenticity of these claims, and authorities continue to examine all possible angles surrounding the incident.
