MUMBAI: Veteran Indian playback singer Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92, marking the end of a celebrated era in South Asian music, according to media reports.
Her death has drawn widespread attention, with renewed focus on her long and successful musical career spanning several decades. She recorded thousands of songs in multiple languages, establishing herself as one of the most prominent voices in the region’s music industry.
Media reports suggest that Asha Bhosle accumulated an estimated net worth between 200 and 250 crore rupees during her lifetime.
