Roma Riaz, who was crowned Miss Universe Pakistan 2025, is set to attend this year’s Cannes International Film Festival. Belonging to Pakistan’s Christian community and a Punjabi family, Roma is preparing to make her mark on the global stage.

In a conversation with Geo Digital, Roma Riaz confirmed that she will walk the red carpet at the prestigious event and will also host the Expedition Gala. She expressed pride in representing Pakistan at such a renowned international film festival.

Previously, Pakistan’s first Miss Universe, Erica Robin, made her Cannes debut in 2024, where she appeared on the red carpet and attended the premiere of Coralie Fargeat’s film The Substance.

As Miss Universe Pakistan 2025, Roma Riaz will attend Cannes this year, showcasing outfits by various fashion designers. However, she has kept the names of the designers a secret for now, saying that the details will be revealed soon.

The 78th Cannes Film Festival will take place in France from May 12 to May 23, featuring a selection of films from around the world.
