Pakistan Delegation Arrives in Tehran to Facilitate Iran–US Talks

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Pakistan’s high-level delegation, led by Syed Asim Munir, has arrived in Tehran as part of ongoing efforts to facilitate negotiations between Iran and the United States.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir reached Tehran accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

ISPR stated that the visit is part of Pakistan’s mediation efforts aimed at restoring dialogue between Tehran and Washington.

Upon arrival, the delegation was received by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi along with other senior Iranian officials.

According to Arab media reports, the Pakistani delegation will hold important discussions focused on reviving negotiations between Iran and the United States.

The Qatari broadcaster Al Jazeera reported, citing Iranian sources, that the visit comes at a time when efforts are underway to restart talks between the two countries.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei had stated that messages were being exchanged with the United States through Pakistan, and that Iran would host the Pakistani delegation as part of the ongoing diplomatic process.

Iranian media has also indicated that the second round of negotiations is expected to take place in Islamabad in the coming days.
