Emergency responders launched an immediate rescue operation after a partially constructed house collapsed near Faizan-e-Madina in Khanewal, trapping three workers beneath the rubble.
Khanewal witnessed a tense rescue operation on Thursday after the roof lintel of an under-construction house suddenly collapsed near Faizan-e-Madina at Lahore Mor, trapping three laborers beneath the debris.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred while construction work was in progress. Local residents alerted emergency services, prompting Rescue 1122 teams to rush to the site with heavy machinery to begin a search-and-rescue operation.
Rescue officials are working to remove the rubble and safely recover the trapped workers. Authorities have not yet confirmed the condition of the laborers. If rescued, they are expected to be shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Khanewal for emergency medical treatment.
The cause of the collapse has not been officially determined. Authorities are expected to investigate whether structural weaknesses, construction practices, or other factors contributed to the incident.
