Three workers were injured when a roof under construction collapsed at Jamia Roza-tul-Quran madrasa in Nowshera, Rescue 1122 said.
NOWSHERA: Three people were injured after a roof under construction suddenly collapsed at Jamia Roza-tul-Quran madrasa in Nowshera during construction work, according to Rescue 1122.
The incident occurred while construction work was underway at the madrasa, when the under-construction roof unexpectedly collapsed, trapping three people beneath the debris.
The injured were identified as Haris, 38, a resident of Mohmand; Hamza, 22, also a resident of Mohmand; and Qari Anwarullah, 45, a resident of Afridiyan.
Rescue 1122 personnel reached the site and carried out a rescue operation to retrieve the injured from beneath the collapsed structure.
The rescuers pulled all three injured people from the debris and provided them with initial medical treatment at the scene.
They were subsequently shifted to Nowshera Medical Complex (NMC) for further medical treatment.
District Emergency Officer Nowshera Malik Ashfaq Hussain provided details of the incident and the rescue operation.
