WEB DESK: Gold prices in Pakistan continued to hover at high levels on January 25, 2026, indicating the continued volatility in the international bullion market and fluctuations in the US dollar.
According to the market data, the price of 24 Karat gold was Rs. 514,662 per tola and 10 grammes of 24 karat gold was priced at Rs. 441,240. Meanwhile, 22 karat gold was sold at Rs. 471,895 per tola with 10 grammes available at Rs. 404,470.
Bullion traders said the movement in local gold rates still reflects trends in the world gold market, especially in the value of the US dollar. A stronger dollar normally exerts pressure on gold prices, but currency weakness may push rates higher in domestic markets.
Experts said that gold prices in Pakistan could fluctuate throughout the day as they are subject to international spot prices, investor sentiment and demand in local bullion markets. Buyers are advised to keep abreast with real-time rates before making transactions.
Gold rates were uniform in major cities such as Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and Peshawar. In all the four cities, 24 karat gold was priced at Rs. 514,662 per tola and Rs. 441,240 per 10 grammes, while 22 karat gold was priced at Rs. 471,895 per tola.
