Rome: (Click Pakistan) Italy has declared a fully financed scholarship scheme to Pakistani students where they will get monthly allowance of €900 and a full waiver of university fees and admission charges in the academic year 2026-27.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy has become the new institution where Pakistani students can apply to obtain the scholarship. The program is targeted to support international students in higher education and exchange of academics in scholarly terms, and study of Italian language and culture.
The fruitful results of the scholarship will be that successful students will have an opportunity to study at not only one of the best universities of Italy such as University of Bologna, Sapienza University of Rome and Politecnico di Milano.
Financial package a monthly allowance of €900, full exemption of tuition and registration fees at the state universities, without having to pay minor local fees, and health and accident insurance cover.
The scholarships can be offered on a period of three, six or nine months. In case of students pursuing long-course degree programs, renewal can as well be offered depending on their performance and course needs.
The government officials indicated that the project is aimed at enhancing global education collaboration and availing good quality education to the bright Pakistani students in Italy.
The applications are expected to be sent by interested candidates to the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Italy on the one hand and the online portals of the corresponding universities on the other, within the mentioned timeframes.
