Pakistan’s leading conglomerate Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with the Ministry of Investment Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan marking a significant step toward strengthening bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Pakistan Uzbekistan B2B Forum which began on 5 February 2026 and focuses on enhancing trade investment, and business linkages. Habib Rafiq Engineering known for its diversified portfolio in construction, engineering infrastructure development and real estate aims to play a key role in Uzbekistan’s development landscape through this partnership.
The agreement was signed by Mr.Jahenzaib Zahid Vice Chairman of Habib Rafiq Engineering and Mr. Shokhrukh Kh. Gulamov Deputy Minister of Investment Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.The ceremony was witnessed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment Industry and Trade Mr. Laziz Sh. Kudratov and Pakistan’s Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production Mr. Haroon Akhtar.
Under the agreement both sides will cooperate in infrastructure development urban and town planning, mining industrial growth and large scale construction projects.The partnership emphasizes joint ventures technical expertise sharing and sustainable development initiatives.
The agreement reflects the shared commitment of Pakistan and Uzbekistan to deepen economic ties promote private sector collaboration and support long term regional connectivity and growth.
