Pakistan May Play India in T20 World Cup Under Certain Conditions

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Pakistan may play against India in the T20 World Cup 2026, but only under certain conditions, sources revealed. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had earlier decided, on government instructions, to participate in the tournament but avoid playing against India. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is actively trying to persuade Pakistan to reconsider its stance.

After discussions with the ICC, the PCB decided to seek further guidance from the Government of Pakistan. The final decision on whether Pakistan will face India will be made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Officials believe that if Pakistan’s conditions are accepted, the high-profile match could take place.

Sources said that ICC Vice Chairman Imran Khwaja held emergency meetings with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore, while representatives from the Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and UAE cricket boards also urged Pakistan to review its decision. Pakistan has reportedly demanded assurances regarding fairness and financial considerations from the ICC.

Further consultations with the Prime Minister are expected, and a major breakthrough is possible soon as negotiations continue.
