Sohail Afridi Reaches Islamabad High Court, Refuses Meeting with Chief Justice’s Secretary

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Lawyer insists on addressing concerns about case scheduling in open court instead of private meeting

ISLAMABAD: (Anwar Zeb Khan) Sohail Afridi arrived at the Islamabad High Court amid concerns over the scheduling of cases related to Former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to sources within the court, Afridi received a message inviting him to meet the Chief Justice’s secretary in his office. However, Afridi declined to go to the secretary’s room, refusing a private meeting.

Speaking to reporters, Afridi said he would only raise his concerns in open court before Chief Justice Justice Dogar. “Imran Khan’s cases are not being fixed for hearing. I will speak directly to the Chief Justice in open court,” he stated.

The development highlights ongoing tensions surrounding the handling and scheduling of high-profile cases at the Islamabad High Court. No official statement was immediately issued by the court administration regarding Afridi’s refusal to meet the secretary or the status of the pending cases.
