Iran Urges Gulf Nations to Expel US Troops as Strikes on Tehran Intensify

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Iran’s foreign minister says the presence of American forces fuels instability as US strikes and regional retaliation raise fears of a wider war.

TEHRAN: Iran has urged neighboring countries to remove American military forces from their territories as tensions surge following increased US strikes on Iranian targets in and around Tehran.

The warning comes amid a new wave of attacks by the United States and Israel on sites linked to Iran’s military and strategic infrastructure. According to regional reports, several key facilities have been targeted in recent operations, escalating an already fragile security situation in the Middle East.

Iran says it has responded by launching strikes against American military bases and assets located in Gulf states, stressing that the attacks are aimed at US facilities rather than the host countries themselves.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called on Gulf and Middle Eastern governments to reconsider hosting foreign troops, arguing that the presence of American forces has contributed to growing instability in the region.

In a message shared on social media, Araghchi said regional countries should not allow foreign military powers to operate from their soil, particularly when such deployments are seen as protecting Israel’s interests.

He also criticised Washington’s long-standing “security umbrella” strategy in the Middle East, saying it has failed to deliver peace and instead intensified geopolitical tensions.

Araghchi further claimed the United States is seeking assistance from other powers, including China, to safeguard the strategic Strait of Hormuz a move he said reflects weaknesses in Washington’s regional policy.

The escalating confrontation between Iran, the United States and Israel has raised concerns among analysts that the conflict could broaden into a wider regional war if diplomatic efforts fail.
