AJK Election Commission has issued election symbols to all candidates and published the final constituency-wise list for the 2026 general elections, paving the way for an intensified campaign season.
The Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has officially allotted election symbols to all candidates contesting the 2026 general elections and released the final constituency-wise list, marking a major step in the electoral process.
According to the Election Commission, election symbols have been assigned to candidates representing political parties as well as independent contestants in accordance with the prescribed electoral rules. The published list includes complete details of candidates and their respective election symbols across all 45 constituencies of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The final list confirms that former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, who is contesting as an independent candidate, has been allotted the Bicycle election symbol.
Election officials said a total of 846 candidates are participating in the 2026 general elections, with every contestant receiving an official election symbol under the election code of conduct. The allocation of symbols formally clears the way for candidates to campaign under their designated identities.
