Ali Larijani Warns Regional States Over Use of US Military Bases

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Tehran: Ali Larijani head of Iran’s National Security Council, has issued a message in Arabic addressed to countries in the region stating that Iran has no intention of attacking its neighbors.

In a post shared on X Larijani emphasized that Tehran does not seek confrontation with regional states. However he warned that if military bases located in neighboring countries are used against Iran and if the United States launches operations from those bases Iran would consider them legitimate targets. He added that such installations would no longer be viewed as part of the host country’s sovereign territory but effectively as American bases.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East and concerns over potential spillover effects of regional conflicts.

Earlier Anwar Gargash adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates described any attack on Gulf states as a miscalculation that would further isolate Iran. He urged Tehran to act prudently, stressing that its conflict is not with neighboring countries.

The exchange highlights growing diplomatic strain as regional powers seek to prevent escalation.
