Chasing a modest target of 57, Bangladesh reached the required total for the loss of just one wicket. Shadman Islam remained unbeaten on 25, while Mominul Haque finished on 30 not out to complete a memorable victory.

Australia were dismissed for 284 in their second innings despite a fighting century from Cameron Green, who scored 104. His innings gave the hosts hope, but Bangladesh’s disciplined bowling attack ultimately sealed the result.
