7 Militants Killed as Security Forces Foil Major Terror Plot in Balochistan’s Kharan

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

KHARAN: Security forces have killed seven militants during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kharan district, dealing a major blow to a militant network accused of carrying out serious criminal and terrorist activities in the region.

According to security sources, the operation was conducted in the Lajay area after intelligence reports indicated the presence of militants at suspected hideouts. Seven militants associated with Fitna al-Khawarij were killed, while several others were reportedly wounded.

Following the operation, security personnel carried out a detailed search of the militant positions. A large quantity of modern weapons, ammunition and other military equipment was recovered, along with a motorcycle and two vehicles.

The suspected hideouts were subsequently destroyed, according to security sources, as part of efforts to dismantle the network’s operational infrastructure.

Officials said the militants were allegedly involved in extortion, kidnapping and target killings. They were also accused of planning suicide attacks, activities that posed a significant security threat to local communities and security personnel.

The operation was conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, through which security forces have been carrying out intelligence-based actions against militant networks in different parts of the country.

Intelligence-led operations are intended to identify militant concentrations, disrupt their logistical networks and prevent planned attacks before they can be executed.
