Behind-the-Scenes Talks End as PPP and PML-N Reach Major Government Formation Agreement

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

PPP and PML-N have reportedly finalized a power-sharing arrangement in Gilgit-Baltistan, allocating key constitutional positions between the two coalition partners.

A significant political development has emerged in Gilgit-Baltistan as the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have reportedly reached an agreement on government formation in the region.

According to PPP leader Naveed Qamar, both parties have finalized a power-sharing formula aimed at ensuring a stable coalition government in Gilgit-Baltistan. Under the agreement, the position of chief minister will be held by the PPP, while the party will also secure the office of the speaker.

As part of the arrangement, the PML-N will receive the posts of governor and deputy speaker. The agreement reflects growing cooperation between the two major political parties, which are already partners at the federal level.

The development comes amid ongoing political consultations following recent electoral activity and discussions over the future governance structure in Gilgit-Baltistan. Political observers believe the agreement could help reduce uncertainty and provide administrative stability in the strategically important region.
