China has announced the provision of emergency humanitarian aid to Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the assistance aims to alleviate the hardships faced by affected populations and to express Beijing’s concern and solidarity with civilians caught in the crisis.
In an official statement, the ministry emphasized that China remains committed to promoting a ceasefire and supporting efforts to achieve lasting peace in the region. The statement called on the international community to prioritize preventing the growing humanitarian crisis, highlighting that addressing civilian suffering should be a global concern.
The ministry further stressed that negotiations and diplomacy are the only viable solutions to the ongoing conflict. China reiterated its belief that military measures alone cannot resolve the complex issues in the Middle East and that dialogue among all parties is essential for sustainable stability.
This humanitarian initiative marks a significant step by China to assist countries directly affected by the conflict, providing relief supplies and support to vulnerable communities. The move also reflects Beijing’s broader diplomatic approach, emphasizing peaceful resolution and humanitarian responsibility while engaging with regional partners.
