KARACHI: Film and television star Danish Taimoor has said that Pakistani television dramas are achieving unprecedented success in the modern era, gaining popularity not only at home but also across international audiences.
Talking to the media, Danish Taimoor shared details of his upcoming drama serial Humraahi, revealing that the project has been filmed at picturesque locations in London, Turkey and Islamabad. He said the drama will present a compelling mix of romance and action, adding that the character he portrays will be among the most memorable of his career.
The actor also spoke warmly about his wife, acclaimed actress Ayeza Khan, saying she is always happy about his achievements. He added that he similarly celebrates and supports Ayeza whenever her projects achieve major success.
Expressing confidence in the future, Danish said that like 2025, the year 2026 will also bring notable projects for him. He noted that he prioritizes his work over social media and believes Humraahi, which will air on Geo TV, will set new benchmarks of success.
Commenting on films, Danish said his performance in Wrong Number was well received and that he is currently waiting for a strong script to return to cinema. He also revealed that after years of discussions, he is finally collaborating with director Babar Javed on Humraahi, written by Zanjabeel Asim.
It is worth noting that Danish Taimoor and Hiba Bukhari have previously delivered blockbuster dramas including Deewangi and Jaan Nisar, earning widespread acclaim for their on-screen chemistr.
