District Judge Steps In After Lawyers and Police Clash Over High-Profile Home Raid in Nowshera

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

NOWSHERA: A dispute between the legal community and police authorities intensified in Nowshera after a police raid at the residence of Malgari Wakeelan Nowshera President Qazi Naseer-ul-Haq Advocate triggered widespread protests by lawyers.

A large number of lawyers gathered at Shobra Chowk and blocked the intersection in protest against what they described as “police excesses.” Demonstrators chanted slogans against the police and demanded justice, warning that their protest would continue until their concerns were addressed.

District Bar Association Nowshera President Mian Arshad Jan Advocate announced that the legal fraternity would maintain its protest campaign until justice was ensured. The road blockade caused disruption in traffic and attracted significant public attention.

Meanwhile, DSP Risalpur Circle Jawad Khan defended the police action, stating that the raid was conducted in accordance with the law after a citizen filed a complaint. He emphasized that no individual is above the law and that legal procedures were followed during the operation.

As tensions rose, the District and Sessions Judge Nowshera intervened by summoning the District Bar cabinet and its president for immediate consultations. The move is being viewed as an effort to ease tensions and find a lawful resolution to the dispute.
