Global Survey Shows Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Among Most Disliked World Leaders

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Global: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been ranked as one of the most disliked world leaders, according to a new international survey by Gallup International. The survey covering 58 countries found that 61% of respondents viewed Netanyahu unfavorably, marking a 20% increase in global disapproval compared to 2019.

Criticism largely focused on his role in the human rights violations against Palestinians. Netanyahu received the highest disapproval rating in Iran where 98% of respondents expressed negative views. European countries also showed significant disapproval with 52% in the United Kingdom and 42% in the United States ranking him among the least popular leaders. In Pakistan, 49% of people considered him the most disliked political figure.

Despite this, Netanyahu enjoyed support in some countries. Azerbaijan and Kenya showed 58% approval, while in India 50% of respondents expressed positive views of the Israeli prime minister.

The survey highlights a stark global divide in perception reflecting geopolitical tensions and differing regional perspectives. Netanyahu’s leadership remains controversial internationally, with widespread criticism in the West and Middle East but pockets of approval in parts of Asia and Africa.
