Islamabad court allows investigators additional time while extending the interim bail of Kingdom Valley owner in an alleged Rs310 million plots and files fraud case.
An Islamabad district court on Friday extended the interim bail of Kingdom Valley owner Ghulam Hussain Shahid until July 10 in a case involving allegations of fraud linked to the sale of property files and plots.
The hearing was conducted by Muhammad Ali Waraich at the District and Sessions Court Islamabad. During the proceedings, the investigating officer requested additional time to complete the investigation, arguing that further inquiry was necessary before submitting the case record.
The court accepted the police request and adjourned the hearing until July 10, while extending the accused’s interim bail for the same period.
According to the case, Ghulam Hussain Shahid is accused of allegedly defrauding complainants of approximately Rs310 million (31 crore) through transactions involving residential plots and property files. The allegations remain under investigation, and no conviction has been recorded.
The case has been registered at Kohsar Police Station in Islamabad. The investigation is ongoing, and the court is expected to review further developments at the next hearing scheduled for July 10.
