ISPR Issues Independence Day Message as Armed Forces Honor Pakistan’s Founders, Martyrs

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Armed Forces extended warm Independence Day greetings to the nation on Thursday, honoring the sacrifices of the country’s founders, martyrs, veterans and citizens while reaffirming their commitment to Pakistan’s founding ideals.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with the chiefs of the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force, conveyed their greetings to the Pakistani nation on the country’s 79th Independence Day.

The military leadership paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and those whose sacrifices contributed to the creation and subsequent defense of Pakistan. It said the vision, courage and determination demonstrated by the country’s founders remain a source of guidance for the nation.

The Armed Forces also acknowledged the sacrifices of martyrs and the services of veterans and former military personnel who dedicated their lives to protecting the country.

ISPR said the contributions of law-enforcement personnel and citizens serving Pakistan in different capacities also deserved recognition. The statement emphasized that the sacrifices of martyrs, the courage of ghazis, the dedication of law-enforcement agencies and the collective efforts of citizens have strengthened the country’s resilience.

The message comes as Pakistan marks Independence Day with ceremonies and national celebrations across the country. The occasion serves as a reminder of the sacrifices associated with the establishment of Pakistan and the responsibilities of citizens in preserving its security, stability and progress.
