Karachi Kings secured a thrilling four-wicket victory over Lahore Qalandars in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 match played in Lahore. After winning the toss Lahore Qalandars opted to bat first but struggled to build momentum against a disciplined Karachi bowling attack. They managed to post 128 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Abdullah Shafique top-scored with 33 runs, while Haseebullah contributed 28 runs.
Karachi Kings bowlers delivered an impressive performance, with Moeen Ali, Mir Hamza, and Adam Zampa picking up two wickets each to restrict the opposition to a modest total.
In response Karachi Kings successfully chased down the 129 run target in the final over, losing four wickets in the process. Mohammad Wasim played a crucial innings of 38 runs, while Saad Baig and Moeen Ali chipped in with 18 runs each.
Despite the loss, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi stood out with an exceptional bowling performance, claiming four wickets. A five run penalty was also awarded to Karachi Kings during their innings due to a ball condition issue, adding a unique twist to the contest.
