Karachi Kings secured a convincing victory over Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League Season 11, thanks to a strong all round performance led by Hasan Ali, who claimed a four wicket haul.
Batting first at Gaddafi Stadium Karachi Kings posted 181/7 in 20 overs setting a target of 182. The innings saw early trouble as opener Muhammad Waseem was dismissed for a duck. A brief recovery came through a 41 run stand between Salman Ali Agha and captain David Warner, who scored a steady 35 off 22 balls.
Middle-order wickets slowed the momentum with Azam Khan falling cheaply but Moeen Ali provided a late boost, remaining unbeaten on 48 off 29 deliveries to push the total to a competitive score.
In response, Quetta Gladiators struggled to form partnerships despite a fighting half century from Shamyl Hussain. Hasan Ali’s disciplined bowling dismantled the batting lineup as Karachi Kings restricted Quetta and secured a comfortable win.
Daniyal was the pick of the bowlers for Quetta with three wickets while Alzarri Joseph took two. Karachi’s balanced performance ensured they dominated both innings and finished the match on top.
