KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi urges students to pursue modern education, research, technology and character-building to contribute to Pakistan’s development.
ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has said education is essential for providing young people with a bright and secure future, stressing that the youth are Pakistan’s valuable asset and future builders.
He made the remarks while addressing the 26th convocation of Beaconhouse International College at the Pakistan-China Friendship Center in Islamabad.
Kundi said promoting quality education and modern skills was a pressing need, as educational institutions play an important role in bringing out the potential of young people and preparing them for the demands of the modern world.
He urged students and young people to make full use of modern education and technology, saying access to knowledge and contemporary skills could help them contribute more effectively to national development.
“Pakistan’s path to development runs through education and a skilled workforce,” Kundi said, calling on students to play their full role in the country’s progress.
The governor also emphasized that education alone was not sufficient for long-term success, saying character-building was equally important for young people. He encouraged students to make knowledge, research and positive thinking their strengths as they move forward in their professional lives.
Addressing the graduating students, Kundi congratulated them on completing their academic journey and encouraged them to begin the next phase of their lives with confidence, hard work and a sense of responsibility.
He said graduates should use their abilities for the service of the country and nation and contribute positively to Pakistan’s future.
The convocation marked the completion of another academic cycle for Beaconhouse International College, with the governor highlighting the broader role of educational institutions in equipping young people with knowledge, skills and values needed for their personal and professional development.
