Pakistan Cuts Petrol Price: New Fuel Rates to Bring Relief From Today

The federal government has reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, with the revised rates taking effect immediately.

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, providing fresh relief to consumers amid ongoing inflationary pressures.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs4.08 per litre. Following the decrease, the new petrol price has been fixed at Rs331.95 per litre.

The government has also lowered the price of high-speed diesel by Rs2.45 per litre. After the latest revision, high-speed diesel will now be available at Rs389.93 per litre.

The revised fuel prices are effective immediately and will remain in force until the next scheduled price review, unless revised earlier by the government.
