Pakistan’s Embassy in Tehran will hold a one-day consular camp in Qom on Oct. 22, offering passport, identity card and other essential services to Pakistani nationals.
TEHRAN: The Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran will organize its first-ever one-day consular services camp in the Iranian city of Qom on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, to facilitate Pakistani nationals living in the city and surrounding areas.
The initiative, being undertaken in cooperation with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, aims to improve access to essential consular services for Pakistani citizens residing outside the Iranian capital.
According to details shared by the embassy, the camp will be held at Safa Hotel on Moalem Street, near Ammar Yasir Crossing in Qom. Services will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The camp will provide Pakistani nationals with access to services related to passports, identity cards and other essential consular matters, subject to applicable rules, documentation requirements and established procedures.
The initiative is intended to make consular assistance more accessible to members of the Pakistani community who would otherwise need to travel to Tehran to obtain relevant services. Such journeys can involve additional transportation costs, time and logistical difficulties, particularly for people managing work and family responsibilities alongside official documentation requirements.
By bringing consular facilities to Qom, the embassy aims to reduce the need for long-distance travel and make it easier for eligible applicants to seek assistance with their documentation and other consular needs.
Pakistani nationals planning to visit the camp are encouraged to bring the relevant documents required for their respective applications. Applicants should also follow the applicable procedures to help facilitate the processing of their requests during the scheduled hours.
The embassy has invited members of the Pakistani community in Qom and nearby areas to take advantage of the opportunity. The one-day initiative is intended to strengthen engagement with Pakistani citizens living in Iran while improving their access to services provided by Pakistan’s diplomatic mission.
Consular outreach is particularly relevant for communities residing in cities away from a country’s main diplomatic mission, where accessing official documentation can require additional travel and expense. Holding the camp in Qom is expected to provide a more convenient option for Pakistani nationals in the area.
The embassy said the initiative reflects its commitment to the welfare and convenience of Pakistani citizens living abroad. By extending services beyond Tehran, the mission aims to respond more effectively to the needs of Pakistanis residing in other Iranian cities.
The first consular services camp in Qom forms part of the embassy’s broader efforts to improve service delivery, strengthen community relations and facilitate access to essential consular assistance. Further details about individual services will be governed by the relevant requirements and procedures.
