Pakistan Issues Majority of Hajj Visas Ahead of April 18 Flight Start

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The process of issuing visas for Pakistani pilgrims preparing for Hajj is progressing smoothly, with authorities confirming that most applications have already been finalized. According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony around 90 percent of visas for registered pilgrims have been issued so far.

Officials said the remaining applications are currently being processed and are expected to be completed soon, ensuring that all approved pilgrims can travel without delays. The Hajj flight operation from Pakistan is scheduled to begin on April 18, when the first group of pilgrims will depart for Makkah and Madinah.

Every year, thousands of Muslims from Pakistan travel to Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage. Authorities begin preparations months in advance to manage travel arrangements, accommodation, and other facilities for pilgrims.

The ministry said it is maintaining close coordination with Saudi authorities to complete all administrative requirements, including visa processing, flight schedules, and accommodation arrangements. Officials expressed confidence that the remaining visas will be issued soon, allowing pilgrims to finalize their travel plans and prepare for the sacred journey.
