Tahir Hussain Andrabi, spokesperson for Pakistan’s Foreign Office has stated that operations targeting militant hideouts in Afghanistan are ongoing after a temporary pause during Eid. He emphasized that the operations will continue until their objectives are fully achieved.
During a media briefing in Islamabad, Andrabi said that Pakistan has conducted all actions with utmost caution, ensuring that no civilians were harmed. He added that attacks by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other Afghan based elements have significantly decreased following recent military operations.
Commenting on regional tensions, Andrabi criticized statements issued by India’s Ministry of External Affairs, calling them undiplomatic and reflective of frustration. He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s stance remains grounded in patience dignity and responsible diplomacy.
He also addressed reports regarding attacks in Gulf countries, stating that the possibility of false flag operations cannot be ruled out. The spokesperson reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace while continuing efforts to counter terrorism and safeguard national security interests.
