Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Crown Prince of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting focused on Pakistan-Kuwait relations and opportunities to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed warm greetings to the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong and brotherly ties with Kuwait. The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and discussed avenues for further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The prime minister emphasized the importance Pakistan attaches to its relationship with Kuwait and highlighted the potential for greater collaboration in trade, investment, energy and human resource development.
The discussion also covered regional and international developments. Both leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and reiterated their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
The meeting took place during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to New York for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, bringing together leaders and representatives from around the world.
