Attock’s District Education Authority has issued a show-cause and personal hearing notice to a private school in Pindi Gheb after an inspection allegedly confirmed violations of government-approved summer camp timings.
A private educational institution in Pindi Gheb, District Attock, is facing possible disciplinary action and a penalty of Rs500,000 after allegedly violating government-notified summer camp timings.
According to an official notice issued by the Chief Executive Officer of the District Education Authority (DEA) Attock on June 16, 2026, a complaint was received against SLS Model Secondary School regarding non-compliance with officially approved summer camp hours. The complaint was later verified through an inspection conducted by the Assistant Education Officer, Markaz Toot.
The inspection report, supported by photographic evidence, reportedly found that the school remained operational beyond the government-approved summer camp schedule of 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and retained students until 10:30 AM.
Punjab’s School Education Department has directed all public and private schools conducting summer camps to operate only from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, to protect students from extreme weather conditions. Authorities have warned that strict legal action would be taken against institutions violating these guidelines.
The DEA Attock stated that the alleged violation endangered student health and safety. The school administration has been directed to submit a written reply and supporting evidence within seven days and appear for a personal hearing. Failure to respond may result in an ex-parte decision based on available records.
