Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directs authorities to accelerate rescue operations and ensure immediate medical assistance for those injured in the Rehman Baba Express derailment in Multan.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of the derailment of coaches of the Rehman Baba Express in Multan and directed the relevant authorities to expedite rescue operations and provide immediate medical assistance to those injured.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Tuesday, the prime minister expressed concern over the passengers injured in the incident and instructed authorities to ensure they receive the best possible medical facilities without delay.

Shehbaz Sharif also directed the relevant officials to accelerate rescue efforts and ensure that all possible medical assistance is provided to the injured.

The prime minister’s directives emphasized the need for prompt emergency response and timely medical care for those affected by the derailment.
