Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The 38th draw of the Rs40,000 Premium Prize Bond is being held today, Sept. 10, 2026, at the National Savings Centre in Sialkot, with a top prize of Rs80 million.

The draw has attracted the attention of investors and prize bond holders across Pakistan because of the substantial cash prizes offered under the Premium Prize Bond scheme.

According to the details provided, the winner of the first prize will receive Rs80 million. Three second prizes of Rs3 million each will also be awarded.

In the third prize category, 660 winners will receive Rs500,000 each.

The Rs40,000 Premium Prize Bond is a registered prize bond that combines prize opportunities with periodic profit payments. Bondholders can receive profit every six months at a rate determined by the federal government, subject to the applicable conditions.

The profit period begins from the bond’s issuance date or the previous profit payment date, provided the bondholder meets the requirements applicable to the relevant period.

Unlike conventional prize bonds, the Premium Prize Bond is registered in the holder’s name, providing an additional layer of documentation and security.

The bond also offers investors the opportunity to participate in prize draws held every three months while retaining their investment. This combination of periodic profit and prize draws has made the instrument an option for investors seeking both returns and prize opportunities.

In the previous draw, bond No. 810678 won the first prize. The three second-prize winners were holders of bond Nos. 159467, 855955 and 954286.

The complete results of Thursday’s draw are expected to be formally released by the relevant authorities after the proceedings. Prize bond holders can check the official results once they are published.

The Rs40,000 Premium Prize Bond was introduced by the government for investors seeking a registered savings instrument that offers both periodic profit and participation in prize draws.
