Sargodha Student Dies After Alleged Poisoning Over Rejected Marriage Proposal

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Police have registered a case against two suspects after the victim’s family alleged she was poisoned following her refusal of a marriage proposal. Authorities say forensic analysis and a post-mortem examination will determine the exact cause of death.

A female student from Kot Momin in Punjab’s Sargodha district has died after allegedly consuming a poisonous beverage, prompting police to launch a criminal investigation into claims that she was deliberately poisoned after rejecting a marriage proposal.

According to police, an FIR has been registered against two nominated suspects on the complaint of the victim’s father. Investigators are conducting raids to arrest the accused, who remain at large, while collecting evidence to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The victim’s father alleged that his daughter was invited by the suspects to a local pizza restaurant, where she was allegedly served a juice laced with poison. He claimed the incident occurred after she refused a marriage proposal from one of the accused.

The complaint states that the young woman fell seriously ill shortly after consuming the drink. She was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but despite doctors’ efforts, she later died.

Police have shifted the body for a post-mortem examination, which is expected to help determine the exact cause of death. Officials said forensic experts will also examine the alleged beverage and other evidence collected from the scene as part of the investigation.

Authorities stressed that the allegations contained in the FIR remain under investigation and have not yet been proven in court. Investigators are recording witness statements and reviewing all available evidence before reaching any conclusions about the circumstances of the student’s death.

Law enforcement officials said every aspect of the case, including the alleged motive, is being thoroughly examined. They also appealed to anyone with relevant information to cooperate with investigators.
