Veteran actor Sohail Ahmed says comedian Allah Rakha Pepsi was under severe emotional stress due to family issues before suffering a fatal heart attack.
Veteran Pakistani comedian and actor Sohail Ahmed has shared emotional details about the final days of the late stage comedian Allah Rakha Pepsi, saying he was deeply distressed by personal and family problems before his sudden death.
Speaking in a recent tribute, Sohail Ahmed described Allah Rakha Pepsi as a self-respecting and talented artist who never depended on others despite facing financial difficulties. He said the comedian remained worried about his daughter’s marital problems and carried the burden silently.
According to Sohail Ahmed, he later learned that Allah Rakha Pepsi’s daughter had been divorced around the time of the comedian’s death and burial. He said the emotional shock added to the tragedy surrounding the veteran performer’s final days.
Sohail Ahmed also revealed that Allah Rakha Pepsi had been suffering from heart-related health issues but continued working and was reluctant to undergo treatment. During the recording of a television comedy programme, he reportedly suffered a heart attack and passed away on July 6, 2026.
Paying tribute, Sohail Ahmed called Allah Rakha Pepsi a gifted performer whose contribution to Pakistan’s comedy and stage industry will be remembered for years.
