Lahore: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq addressed a gathering of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz workers in Lahore, rejecting rumors regarding the hospitalization of PTI founder Imran Khan. He stated that no doctor had recommended hospitalization and emphasized that such decisions would only be made on medical advice.
Speaking on broader issues Ayaz Sadiq praised the efforts of the Prime Minister and Punjab Chief Minister in addressing national challenges noting that citizens in the US and Europe face severe inflation and food shortages while Pakistan due to its religious values has been relatively shielded from extreme hunger.
The Speaker highlighted the government’s focus on development projects stating that billions of rupees are being spent to improve public facilities and gradually overcome economic difficulties.
On security he urged Afghanistan not to allow its territory to be used for terrorism targeting Pakistan. He reaffirmed that Pakistan seeks peace friendship and cooperation but will respond strongly to any imposed aggression. He also emphasized that the country remains a leading force diplomatically while showing zero tolerance toward attacks on innocent civilians especially children.
Ayaz Sadiq’s remarks underline the government’s commitment to governance development and national security.
