Supreme Court Fixes Hearing of Imran Khan’s Appeal in Defamation Case Filed by Shehbaz Sharif

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Supreme Court has scheduled for hearing an appeal filed by PTI founder Imran Khan in the defamation case initiated by Shehbaz Sharif.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Hashim Khan Kakar will hear the case on March 31. The bench also includes Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb.

Imran Khan has raised objections to the process of recording evidence in the trial of the defamation case.

It is worth recalling that during the Panama case proceedings, Imran Khan had accused Shehbaz Sharif of offering him a bribe of Rs10 billion. Shehbaz Sharif denied the allegation and subsequently filed a defamation suit against him.
