August 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest months for smartphone launches, with leading brands preparing to introduce devices across flagship and mid-range segments. Google, Vivo, iQOO, and POCO are all expected to unveil new models featuring faster chipsets, larger batteries, advanced AI capabilities, and improved cameras.

Google is set to headline the month with the Pixel 11 series on August 12. The lineup is expected to include the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All four devices are rumored to feature Google’s new 2nm Tensor G6 processor, 256GB base storage, upgraded camera hardware, enhanced Gemini AI features, and the new “Pixel Glow” LED notification system. The standard Pixel 11 is expected to start at $899.

iQOO is also expected to launch the iQOO Z11 in India during August. The handset is tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset, a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, a massive 9,020mAh battery with 90W fast charging, and a 50MP primary camera. Pricing is expected to remain below INR 30,000.

Vivo is preparing two major releases. The Vivo V80 is expected to offer a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 7,200mAh battery, and a triple-camera setup featuring dual 50MP sensors. Meanwhile, the revived Vivo S2 could arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset, 7,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging.

Budget buyers can look forward to the POCO M8 Power 5G, officially launching on August 4. The smartphone is confirmed to feature an 8,000mAh battery, AMOLED display, and a 50MP rear camera. It is also expected to include a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, 120Hz display, IP65 rating, and a price below INR 20,000.

With flagship innovation from Google and feature-packed offerings from Vivo, iQOO, and POCO, August 2026 is expected to deliver strong options for users across different price segments.
