Heavy rainfall triggered a wall collapse near Attock, leaving two brothers dead and three children injured as rescue teams rushed to the scene.
A tragic rain-related incident claimed the lives of two young brothers after a wall collapsed during heavy rainfall in a village near Attock on Thursday. The heartbreaking accident occurred in Dhok Balm, near the village of Bota, where five children were trapped beneath the debris.
According to rescue officials, the wall suddenly gave way amid torrential rain, burying the children underneath. Two brothers died at the scene, while three other children sustained injuries in the collapse.
After receiving the emergency call, rescue teams from Rescue 1122 quickly arrived at the site and launched a rescue operation. Responders successfully recovered the bodies of the deceased brothers and rescued the injured children from the rubble.
The injured were provided with first aid before being shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Attock for further medical treatment.
