UET Taxila has requested the Press Club Taxila to nominate one eligible candidate for a reserved Civil Engineering seat under the media persons’ quota for Undergraduate Admissions 2026.
The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila has announced a reserved admission opportunity for the child of a media person under its Undergraduate Admissions 2026 process, according to an official notification issued by the university’s Admission Office.
The notification, dated July 8, 2026, has been addressed to the President of Press Club Taxila, requesting the nomination of one eligible candidate for a reserved seat in the Civil Engineering program. According to the letter, the seat has been allocated under the prescribed quota for the child of a media person from Taxila.
UET Taxila has asked the Press Club to forward the nomination along with all required supporting documents at the earliest so the admission case can be processed within the university’s prescribed admission schedule. The letter adds that timely submission is necessary to ensure completion of the admission process without delay.
The notification was issued by Dr. Ali Javed, Convener Admissions, UET Taxila. The university has not announced any change to its overall undergraduate admission policy, and the reserved seat appears to be a quota-based provision specifically intended for an eligible nominee recommended through the Press Club Taxila.
