Former Test cricketers Umar Gul and Asad Shafiq are likely to be included in Pakistan’s team management for the upcoming Test tour of Bangladesh.
Pakistan last played a Test series against South Africa last year, and several changes are expected in the team management for the upcoming series.
According to sources, Umar Gul is likely to be appointed as the bowling coach, while Asad Shafiq may take on the role of batting coach.
In addition, Abdul Saad is expected to be assigned responsibilities as the fielding coach. He has previously served as the fielding coach of the Pakistan women’s cricket team and would be joining the men’s team for the first time.
Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is set to begin his role as head coach for red-ball cricket.
It is worth noting that Pakistan is scheduled to tour Bangladesh next month for a two-match Test series.
