The Punjab government has announced that all educational institutions across the province will reopen from April 1. The decision applies to schools, colleges, and universities, restoring regular academic activities.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that institutions will operate five days a week under the normal schedule. He clarified that a notification circulating about a four-day school week is fake and has no official status.
The minister emphasized that all classes will be conducted physically, ruling out any hybrid or online learning systems. He urged students to return to campuses and continue their studies in a traditional classroom environment.
Authorities have assured that standard academic routines will resume, marking a full return to regular educational operations across Punjab.
