UAE players recalled from PSL 11 for domestic tournament

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has faced a temporary setback as players from the United Arab Emirates have been called back by their national board during the tournament’s 11th edition.

According to sources, two UAE players representing Karachi Kings Khuzaima Bin Tanveer and Muhammad Waseem have returned to their home country following instructions from the Emirates Cricket Board.

The players have been directed to participate in the UAE’s domestic D50 tournament, which is currently underway. Officials indicated that both cricketers are expected to play at least two matches in the competition before being allowed to rejoin their PSL franchise.

This development comes at a crucial stage of the tournament, as Karachi Kings prepare for their upcoming match against Peshawar Zalmi, scheduled for April 9 in Karachi.

Despite their temporary absence, there is optimism that the players will return in time to strengthen the squad for the later stages of the league. The move highlights the balancing act international players often face between domestic commitments and franchise leagues.

The situation remains fluid, but fans will be closely watching for updates regarding the players’ return to PSL action.
