From Dance Parties to Drug Cartel: Inside the Alleged Empire of Anmol “Pinky”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

A high-profile drug investigation in Karachi has taken a dramatic turn as new allegations surface about Anmol alias “Pinky,” a woman accused of running a sophisticated narcotics network across multiple cities of Pakistan.

According to investigative sources, the suspect allegedly attempted to erase her identity by using extreme measures, including claims that acid was used to destroy fingerprints in an effort to avoid detection. Authorities have not independently verified these claims, but they have intensified scrutiny of her background and alleged operations.

Reports suggest she was born in Karachi in 1995 and spent her early life in a densely populated neighborhood of the city. Over time, investigators allege she developed links with drug trafficking circles, gradually expanding her influence into what is now described as a structured distribution network.

Officials claim the alleged network extended beyond Karachi, reaching major urban centers including Lahore, Islamabad, Murree, Multan, and parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. The operation is said to have relied on discreet delivery methods, including female riders and intercity transport services, to avoid law enforcement attention.

Sources further allege that the network had internal associates, including women identified during investigation as close aides, who facilitated logistics and distribution channels. The group is also accused of disguising narcotics under branded packaging to circulate synthetic drugs in the market.

Investigators claim the operation involved high-grade substances prepared through chemical mixing processes and distributed under a recognizable name in underground circles. Law enforcement agencies are examining whether the network had connections with influential individuals, though these claims remain under investigation.

Officials also note that the suspect was previously detained in 2018 but later released on bail. Her recent arrest came after a joint operation conducted in Karachi’s Garden area, where authorities reportedly recovered weapons, ammunition, and large quantities of narcotics.

Following the arrest, controversy erupted after videos surfaced showing her being presented in court without handcuffs, prompting questions over procedural conduct. Senior officials in Sindh’s interior ministry and Karachi police have ordered inquiries into possible protocol violations, stating that no individual is above the law and accountability will be ensured.

The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities expanding efforts to map out the alleged network’s full structure and financial channels.
